Anti-blue light from electric visual devices

Blue light 2Wave length of visible light is between 400 to 700nm. Blue light is a high energy visible light with short wave lenght (400~500nm).

Recent animals studies showed that high level of blue light is harmful to our macula. Macula is the most important part in retina because it is most sensitive to light and responsible to central vision as well as color vision. Any defect on macula would cause serious degradation of visual function.

Beside sunlight, Sources of blue light including LED lighting, monitor of different electric visual devices (smartphone, tablet PC and desktop computer). Therefore, people should not watch their electronic devices for long time.

There are some optical lenses with anti-blue light coating, which can block the hatful blue light. These lens are perfectly design for people who need to work with electronic devices.
